From plumbers and hairdressers to fishing guides, furniture shops, makers and home businesses, good work happens all around us. We want to help people find it and build something that benefits everyone in our community.
How it can be free
About $12 a year
for the domain.
That is what we budget for abilenelocals.com. We host through Cloudflare and build around its free hosting allowances to keep the running costs small.
We contribute the time to build and look after the directory. That lets us offer free business pages and free listings, with no commission on the work you do.
The domain cost and the hosting are separate. Cloudflare's free services have usage limits; this is our simple, low-cost starting point.

Tell us your business name, what you do and where you work. We review requests before creating pages.

Approve it before it goes live.
We put the details together with you. Your page appears in the directory only with your permission.

Make it yours when you are ready.
We can look after the page at first. If you want to manage it later, contact us. Management requests need approval and ownership confirmation before access is shared.
